DraftPress Authors Bundle is a collection of five WordPress plugins for managing and presenting authors on multi-author websites. It combines author performance statistics with tools for displaying author biographies, photos, other posts, and profile lists. The bundle is aimed at publishers who want to organize author information and give readers clearer ways to discover the people behind their content, all within a WordPress site.
Key features
Measure author activity
Author Stats Pro tracks post counts, average word count, views, comments, and social shares. Site owners can review author data in total or by date range to see how different writers’ content performs and where engagement is coming from. The product page notes that initial indexing time depends on the site’s post volume, server speed, post size, and hosting limits. Large sites may take a day or two or longer to finish indexing.
Add author details to articles
Author Box displays information about the writer and offers a way for readers to connect with them. Its placement can be selected for posts, pages, or custom post types, using global settings, a widget, or a shortcode. The box has customizable colors, shapes, sizes, and layout styles, and can be hidden on selected content.
Author Photos lets users upload their own avatars and display them with shortcodes. It can also fall back to a Gravatar when an author has not supplied a photo, and the product page describes an option to override WordPress’s default Gravatar output.
Help readers find more content and writers
Author Posts displays other articles by the same writer, with ten layout options. Settings cover the number and order of posts, author biography, avatar appearance, colors, and post layout. A featured-author widget can highlight a selected writer.
Author Lists presents author profiles in four layouts through a widget or shortcode. Lists can be configured by user role, excluded users, number of authors, sorting, and avatar display. Together, these presentation tools can help readers browse a publication’s contributors and their work.
Who it is for
The bundle is most relevant to WordPress site administrators, bloggers, online newspapers, magazines, and community-focused publications with multiple contributors. It may be useful when author details are scattered, readers need an easier way to explore writers’ work, or site owners want to compare author activity using the metrics listed in Author Stats Pro.
The plugins are also aimed at site owners who want control over where author elements appear and how they look. Shortcodes and widgets provide ways to place several of these elements around a site, while the customization options let administrators adjust layouts and selected visual details.
Limitations
This is a WordPress-specific set of plugins, not a standalone author-management service. The page does not describe a broader publishing workflow, external integrations, or a way to track author performance beyond the listed statistics and engagement measures. Author Stats Pro requires indexing, and large sites or hosting environments that restrict scheduled tasks may need extra time or help from the host. The page says some managed hosts limit cron jobs, which can affect indexing.
Verdict
DraftPress Authors Bundle brings together practical tools for author analytics and presentation on multi-author WordPress sites. Its main appeal is the combination: performance tracking, author boxes and avatars, related posts, and contributor lists are covered in one bundle. It is a more focused fit for publishers who need these WordPress-specific functions than for teams looking for a broader editorial or analytics system. Before choosing it, consider whether the listed metrics and author display controls match the site’s needs, and allow for indexing time on larger publications.
